MSC Poesia just completed its first Caribbean cruise from Port Everglades. The family-owned Italian cruise line -- officially called Mediterranean Shipping Co.and one of the world's largest container firms -- has 10 ships in in its fleet and this one, only about 18 months old, is a great mix of Italian cutting edge design and old world European-style gracious hospitality.

Poesa is offering wonderful rates and a series of five and 10-day sailings before returning to Europe in late April.

The ship has an active children's programs, sports decks, alternative restaurants, a Balinese spa and great entertainment.
