THE WILDEBEEST MIGRATION WITH A VIEW OF THE PINK FLAMINGOES

 

Day 1 – Nairobi Serena Hotel / Intercontinental / Grand Regency: You will be met upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to your hotel where you are booked in on bed and breakfast basis.

 

 

Day 2 - Mara Sarova / Serena / Simba / Sopa: Depart after breakfast and drive towards the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.  Arrive at the lodge in Mara where you are booked in on full board basis.  Check-in and have your lunch.  Go for an afternoon game drive.  Return to camp, relax, dine and enjoy the atmosphere.  Overnight.

Maasai Mara is a world famous game reserve, which is the northern extension of the Serengeti.  This amazing reserve hosts a huge variety of plains game and the big five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino.   Drive off on the beaten tracks and through amazing landscape of flora, fauna and sheer African wilderness.  The Mara is Africa's heartbeat.

 

Day 3 – Mara Sarova / Serena / Simba / Sopa: You have a head start on your day for your early morning game drive.  This is your chance to witness animals as they emerge from their resting places with the sunrise.  You return to your camp for breakfast.  Enjoy the morning at leisure.  After lunch, go back for your afternoon game drive and catch the animals in a different light.  The African backdrop will mesmerize you and take your breath away with its colorful sunset and vast rolling grasslands and serenity.  Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

 

 

Day 4 - Sarova Lion Hill Lodge / Lake Nakuru Lodge / Mbweha Camp: After breakfast, drive towards Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National park arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park that also takes you to the shore of the lake, famous for its millions of flamingoes that form a pink hue across the lake. The park is also a rhino sanctuary for black and white rhinos. You might even get a chance to spot some leopards. Dinner and overnight. Distance Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru 360km

 

Day 5 – Departure: Depart after breakfast and return to Nairobi.  You can have lunch at an extra cost before dropping you off at the Airport.
