Upper Mustang Trek

Upper Mustang is an isolated region of the Nepalese Himalayas. It was restricted for foreigners until 1992 and still needs a special permit to trek here. The excessive permit fees and compulsory licensed holder guided needed to make this region expensive. It is one of the preserved destinations of the world. In the upper part of the region, we found Tibetan culture and lifestyle with most people still speaking the traditional Tibetan language.
