Upper Mustang is an isolated region of the Nepalese Himalayas. It was restricted for foreigners until 1992 and still needs a special permit to trek here. The excessive permit fees and compulsory licensed holder guided needed to make this region expensive. It is one of the preserved destinations of the world. In the upper part of the region, we found Tibetan culture and lifestyle with most people still speaking the traditional Tibetan language. In the lower part of the region, Thakali culture and lifestyle can be seen.

The moderate trek region has the highest point of 3800m which makes it possible for all trekkers.
Best Season:
Being a rain-shaded area even June July is the best season for Upper Mustang Trekking. The green view on the plain land looks like an oasis around June, July, and August. September, October, and November is a good time for every region in Nepal for trekking. December, January, and February are extremely cold, so we have to carry all equipment this season. In March, April, and may The weather will be clear and nice.
