Geneva State Park Campground

Nice hardwood forest campground with electric on site, offering a shower house with flush toilets situated along northeastern Ohio's Lake Erie shoreline in Geneva Ohio.

This was just a quick 2 night camping trip to get the RV ready for the upcoming trip to New England (shakedown trip #3). We were here on a Sunday and Monday night, and it was very quiet, just what we were hoping for.

We chose site #68, all the way in the far back of the campground, on a cul de sac.

Unfortunately we didn't have the time to enjoy the amenities of Geneva State Park, especially the six miles of trails that traverse park and of course the Lake Erie beaches, marshes and creeks. We didn't even use the shower house as we were preparing the RV for several days of boondocking so we concentrated on getting all the RV systems functioning. This shakedown trip was much better than the previous failed attempt (Shakedown Trip = FAIL) and was very necessary. The list of forgotten items was unbelievable (even after spending days prepping and loading)!
