Hi ! I am introducing you to my Beach ''Boutique Accommodation'' here at WHANGAIMOANA Beach in NEW ZEALAND.The name of my Accommodation is DreamMysts Retreat: . Which can be viewed at www.palliserbaybb.co.nz
A very distinguishing feature of this area is the Neolithic formed PUTANGIRUA PINNACLES SCENIC RESERVE .
You will see a photo of these Putangirua Pinnacles, that I have loaded onto this Tripatini site. The best time to view these spectacular 25,000 year old Pinnacle formations is between October to April. However if the weather has been mild with lots of Sun it is often accessible throughout the Year. There are three fabulous walks to see and marvel at these amazing Earth Pillars. One is up the Riverbed, the second is through pristine Ancient Forest up to the Lookout and the third walk carries on up through ''Scrub''(Kanuka) ,then skirts the edge of forestry along a Forestry track and then across a Farm and down to the Cape Palliser Road, where you will walk back to where you left your car in the Putangirua Pinnacles Car Park.
Ngawi is a quirky Fishing Villiage that is 25 minutes Drive ,driving East from here. The Coast Drive is very Spectacular.
On Whangaimoana Beach ,on a Day when the visibility is good you will be able to look across the Cook Straight and see the Sun shining on the Snow of the Kaikoura Mountains which are on the South Island of New Zealand.
Whangaimoana Beach is a very QUIET BEACH. Often you will have the entire Beach to your self. You will see good Coastal Landscapes.
DreamMysts Retreat has views of both the OCEAN and Aorangi Mountain Ranges. Most of the time you will see Clouds or MISTS.The atmosphere is also very MYSTICAL.
