Journalist seeks info on your best value, food, wine, attractions views, musees in Paris

I have  an article due for  a worldwide newspaper  that debuts in NYC..  I have  stayed in Paris  at Grace Leos Beauchamps  Hotel which I think is perfect for the  hotel  to mention because of it's location  near Champs  Elysees.

I need your tips to include: best prix fixe dinner or lunch, where to get commestables & wine for a picnic, where to picnic ( lunch)  free or low cost attractions ( all must be very french). Free  musee admission on certain days? Where to rent a bicycle or   Vespa?   E. tower tour? Two for one shows- that sort of thing .  Perhaps as they do in NYC a fashion house has a  private sale  a couple times a year. I need ideas only  Parisians  or expats  know.

Does anyone have experience with company " Paris Pass" ?

I stress not a budget piece, but  a value article.  Thank you so much. Michelle

Wow Michelle: The Paris Pass is great.  There are discount kiosks for theater and musical performance tickets near the Madelaine and Gare Montparnasse.   I don't know of two-for coupons except possibly from Groupon and that really doesn't work for tourists.

You can rent bikes all over the city at the Velib stands. I don't know many fashion houses that have private sales except for their very good customers.

Admission to the Louvre is free on the first Sunday of each month .. but there are plenty of ones that are always free.

All the best,
