Brief travel bio

I'm a little pressed for time at the moment, so I'll keep this short and sweet.

I graduated from college in 2009 and was planning on beginning my graduate studies the following fall. Then about a month before classes began my brother, who was working in Malaysia at the time, convinced me to hold off and fly out to Asia for a few months. I Stopped in Hong Kong for a couple of days before heading down to SE Asia. Spent most of the following 2 months backpacking throughout Malaysia, Singapore, and a little bit of Thailand. When I have some time I'll post a detailed write up on this.

So, the following year, I was all set to begin my graduate work, had an apartment signed and everything. Then, about 3 weeks before I was set to begin classes, a few of my college buddies told me they were planning on setting out for a cross country trip... which I had been itching to do, but never had the opportunity arise. So, I found a sublet for my apartment, deferred my enrollment yet again, and went with. We took somewhat of a jagged route through the north beginning in my home state of NH to Niagara Falls, Chicago, Badlands and the Black Hills, down to Colorado, clipped Utah on route to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, stopped off in Boise, then up to Seattle all the way down the PCH to LA.

The following winter I finally began my graduate studies at Philadelphia University's MS. Sustainable Design program. I'm writing my thesis on the need for a universal certification for sustainable tourism and the influence that a social media network may be able to have on the industry.
