I came on later in age than you. I had co-authored some books and had print experience. Even though the pay was higher per article--it took forever to get paid and I enjoy my blogs featuring what I want. I also like the online publications I work with as they provide great numbers.

I understand. I'd have to say that many of our trips are to areas without wine, and many of our writers don't drink. But, we do focus on the culture, activities, food and drink of the area. As great as I think IFWTWA is, there are other associations that may meet your needs more. In any case, I do like your comments.

The International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association is shortened to IFWTWA. We have writers in all three categories. You may want to check it out sometime at www.ifwtwa.org. We also have groups on Tripatini, etc. We are constantly selling the benefits of social media.
