Are you connected to the tourism/travel/hospitality industries or travel media in any way? If so, please specify how (kindly include any relevant company names/Web sites!).: I'm a travel writer who's published in most major magazines and newspapers, including National Geographic Traveler, Conde Nast Traveler and the Boston Globe. I also blog and am often asked to guest blog for large travel portals on travel, food, wine, design and architecture. I specialize in what I call "hidden treasure travel," in other words looking for authentic adventures.

On which destinations & travel topics can you advise members especially well?: Israel, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Turkey as well as hiking, biking and skiing (both downhill and cross country)

What destinations are you most interested in learning about?: the Mid East and Southeast Asia

We are looking for a writer with considerable knowledge and experience in luxury travel throughout the Middle East, particularly Turkey: Cappadocia, Istanbul, Ephesus, the Lycian Coast. This will be an editorial about a luxury vacation taken by a family/couple to Turkey (and possibly other areas in the Middle East).
We also need a writer (who knows Turkey well) for a piece on high fashion or high-end jewelry.
