After graduating from Journalism school and working in public relations she has backpacked through Europe; sailed over Alcatraz in a Zeppelin, rode horseback on a Fjord horse in Norway, hot air ballooned in California wine country, floated under the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge on a SuperLiner cruise ship and fly fished in Alaska. She has traveled via Amtrak train, lodge hopped in Alaskan float planes, helicoptered in Hawaii, motorcycled in Greece and boarded the wrong bus while visiting Germany's Neuschwanstein Castle.
