One of the most famous treks in Himachal Pradesh, departing from Manali. The journey has both theological and beatific meaning. The beauty of the Beas Kund trek is the bliss of the mountains, the tranquilly of the meadows, the pristine air, and the sweet hush of waters flowing against the rocks.

You begin at an altitude of 8,156 feet in Solang Valley and ascend to a peak of 12,772 feet at Beas Kund's lake. This translates to a gain of 4,616 feet in just three days of hiking. This can make the journey difficult.

The trek is to the Beas Kund, or the beginning of the river Beas, as the name implies. This makes it much more exciting than any other trek because you get to see an alpine glacier melt away into a small stream, which then transforms into a massive river like the Beas.

But it is the well-trodden route of the trek that takes you across the most breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys that makes this trek as amazing as it is.

The fact that this trek can only be completed in a certain amount of time is another feather in its cap.
