I am 22 years, I m going to discover south region of USA with my friends in upcoming spring. Can anybody share, what to pack, where to stay and what to  see?

South region of USA consists of the following states Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. Anyhow, the places where I have visited and would like to recommend are:

 

- Myrtle Beach-SC, 

- Ripley'S Aquarium, SC

- Paramount'S Carowinds Theme & Water Park, SC

- Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, NC

- Currituck Beach Lighthouse,

- NC- Great Smoky Mountains National Park, SC

- Natural Bridge, VA

- Luray Caverns, VA

- Virginia Beaches,

VA- Shenandoah Valley,

VA- Richmond International Raceway, VA

 

These places are filled with many activities. Hope you like them.

If I were 22 and wanted to do some spring break-type partying, I'd visit Myrtle Beach, as Peter suggests. And I certainly wouldn't omit Florida. When I was young, the place for spring break was Fort Lauderdale. Now it's Daytona Beach. Oh, to be your age and heading down to Daytona with a bottle of suntan lotion and a pocketful of beer money.
