Thai tourist agencies/ boards/ PR offices - suggestions please??

Hi.  I'm a freelance writer/ sub-editor, and having recently started
working with TheTravelEditor.com I am currently looking to build on the
sites coverage of Thailand.

I would really appreciate if anyone could suggest any contacts within
the Thai tourism industry, be they at the tourist board of a PR office, to
help with my work.

Similarly if anyone is interested in contributing any copy relating to
this region, for example hotel/ restaurant reviews, travel
features etc, please get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Gareth Vipers

All that information is on our Thai group. Click Groups, Alphabetical, Thailand. FYI, my nephew has been living in Thailand; poor guy has to move back home now.
Hi Gareth,

Deviating from the question you have asked, but related to the work you do, should you want to write an article about Tanzania (a god gifted land with wonders like Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Mt. Kilimanjaro), please do get in touch with me and I shall provide you with the details your require.

Hi Gareth,

I am working for an inbound Tour Operator here in Thailand, this morning I just read the following article which might be of interest to you for your research, its scope is pretty much limited to the political unrest which Bangkok is facing at the moment though; http://www.ttrweekly.com/site/2010/05/tat-stands-in-the-firing-line/

Other sources where you can find information are the two main English speaking Thai Newspapers, the Bangkok Post and the Nation Thailand. Just bear in mind the press is not totally free to express any kind of opinions in Thailand...

Then you have the travel magazines such as TTG Asia or TTR which feature good articles, the guys from the PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) might also be helpful.

If you have any specific questions you are welcome to contact me and, if I can, I will be glad to give you answers.
Good luck and Regards,
Raymond
I visited Thailand last year with my family through buffalotours. It really helped me a lot, make my trip so comfortable and fun.Thailand is a great place to explore and it has enormous places from adventure to pilgrimage, beaches to traditional and many more.
