Eat!
The food is great - try the piadina if you want something on-the-go otherwise go to Il Pescato del Canevone where you will find Alberto and Arianna, the owners The freshness of the fish served here is assured by the fact that Alberto's family has for three generations plied the Adriatic Sea in their own fishing boat. Ancient brick walls and beamed ceiling contribute to the Medieval tavern feel of the place while contemporary art work adds a welcome touch of color. Fish and seafood are the stars of the show but classic local pasta dishes like tortellini and tagliatelle make an appearance, too.
I have a free evening in my itinerary on Thursday, do you have the contact details for II Pescato del Canevone?
I would love to go there for dinner, and perhaps review the restaurant.
Thanks for all your comments and your heads up - they have been fab! I will keep you posted on your recommendations.
Wendy if you're around come out for a cocktail...
Joseba - I will check out the online brochure
Cheers! M :)
