Buenos Aires, Argentina: ISO hotels between $100-$150, great restaurants, non-mainstream tango shows

Traveling to Buenos aires in October for two weeks and am looking for places to stay for between $100 and $150 us dollars. Also interested in small fantastic restaurants and out of the mainstream tango shows.
