Need Cabo and Mazatlan info

Now, I won 3 nights at the Fiesta Americana Golf Resort in Cabo. Pretty Cool!

and then I bought an extra night Dec 15-19

from Cabo will take the ferry to Mazatlan and work my way to our home in PV

I know nothing about Cabo. Thinking of taking more time in Cabo.

Do I want more time or less time in Cabo. ?

Also , anyone know about the ferry to Mazatlan???

 

Furhtermore, I have never been to Mazatlan , so any info is helpful

I know absolutly nothing about Cabo nor Mazatland.

I hear mixed reviews about Cabo and Mazatlans   Is it worth more days???

They're hardly indigenous fishing communities any more, if that's what you mean by "mixed reviews." Cabo, in particular, is resort enclave for norteamericanos. Drive north on Baja's east coast to La Paz: It's a real Mexican city, a small, sweet, town just large enough to have a functioning theater, plenty of mom 'n' pop shops, and a park where families gather each evening and eat ice cream cones. Starting just to the north here in the Sea of Cortez is a huge marine preserve, miles and miles of desert islands, tropical fish, whales, and dolphins. Go out for a day tour or rent a kayak.

Thanx for the info. My town on Puerto Vallarta, I fell, has a ton of charm, and P.V. is a resort area.
Well, I am going with it . 3 nights for free at a Fiesta Americana resort is a new experience. It's all good.
then slowly head to PV . Will take your advise. Thanx, Nick

Don't need to be worry, Cabo is Americanize and expensive tourist place, it's just like the Cancun. Mazatlan is a larger but less expensive city for tourist and having tropical weather. Here are the links that might help you in your quest. www[.]allaboutmazatlan[.]com and www[.]allaboutcabo[.]com

Cabo is a great vacation spot and prices for accommodations are lower than I have seen in 12 years. We moved to Cabo in 1998 and lived there full time for almost 11 years. Our plan was to stay a couple of years but our "adventure in paradise" has been much longer than planned. We started a local business in 1999 and have enjoyed being part of the community from the beginning. Cabo is a beautiful, safe destination where the locals are friendly and appreciate tourists. To describe Cabo I often say it is like Phoenix with an ocean only the weather is better. Cabo is in the desert with the same flora and fauna you would see in the Phoenix area, has about the same annual rainfall as Phoenix but the winters are warmer (never any need for heat) and the summers are milder. Cabo has less humidity than most coastal cities of Mexico. In addition the beautiful sparkling Sea or Cortez and Pacific Ocean add to the lure of Cabo. No wait for the marine layer to burn off, we have full sunshine for about 350 days of the year!
