Good Budget Hotel in Portsmouth, England?

I want to stay in Portsmouth for three nights from Monday 25 Oct till Wednesday 27 inclusive.  I wish to visit Portsea, the Naval Dockyards and museum.  Can someone please recommend a good budget hotel with wifi?  If there are good pubs nearby, so much the better.
