Post COVID Travel and Trekking Plan in Nepal

Furthermore, according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Travelers(especially trekkers and Mountaineers) to Nepal after COVID must require the following as basic:

1. A permit and vias (Trekkers and Mountaineers must obtain a visa before arrival through their Travel and Trekking agencies)from the Nepalese government to entry in Nepal. It is exceptional for some diplomatic, international organizations and some international non-governmental personnel.
2. Negative PCR test obtained within 72 hours from a registered medical institute while departing their home country is mandatory.
3. Trekkers and mountaineers also must have booked hotels for 7 days to quarantine in Nepal.
4. Trekkers and Mountaineers must consist of insurance of at least $5000 USD against COVID- 19.
5. Trekkers and Mountaineers should have a PCR test on the fifth day of quarantine for their own expenses.

2. Public transportation including taxis, buses, and some long-distance buses are operated at half occupancy. ( note: marks are essential for outdoors including on public transport and taxis)
3. Further Information on flights is available through the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Condition of COVID 19 in Nepal 

Till now there are 176k cases are active in Nepal but 138k were recovered. Besides 984 deaths were confirmed due to the pandemic.
