Need tips on travelling to Lisbon with NO MONEY!

They are sending us to a foriegn country with NOTHING to survive on but two laptops, NO MONEY at all. We find out JUNE 9, 2011 where our destination is, and we get to VLOG about all our adventures. We are super excited, and we need some tips on what to do. Can't wait!!

Wow, this does sound exciting!  But clarify something, please - when you say "no money,"  do you mean you have to spend your own $$ so you're on a strict budget, or they literally want to drop you there and leave you on your own to make it without any money at all?

Microsoft are dropping us off with NO MONEY. We can't bring any of our own, and they are not giving us any! They want to see how we can survive without money at all. This will be a trip of a lifetime, and we just found out we are going to Lisbon, Portugal!  Here is the link to our website...

NO MONEY AT ALL!!! Wow, that IS a fun challenge. So, you get no money from them, you can bring no money of your own, but... can your family wire you funds while you're there?? ;-)

Nope, it's against the rules. We would be disqualified if we did.

Wow! Does this mean that food, lodging, etc. will all have to be gifted, bartered, worked for and the like?

Sounds kind of strange no ? Microsoft should know better. One cannot work legally as a tourist. Oh well !

You are right Anil, we are not expected to work, we are expected to ask favours from people, whether that be trading house work for stay, or busking for money on the street. So far, it has worked pretty well, we we given enough money to be able able to stay in a hostel our first night!
