Namugongo Shrine Becomes National Tourist Site

The Government is in the process of gazetting the Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo a national tourist site. This is expected to elevate the holy place to the level of pilgrimage sites such as Rome in Italy or Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
