Suggestions for tour companies in Normandy and Rome

I will be traveling with my family this summer along with another family, we are a party of 9. We are 4 adults and 5 teenagers. We plan on being in Normandy July 7th to the 9th and in Rome July 19th to the 25th. Any suggestions?

What will y'all be doing between July 9-19? How will you be traveling from Normandy, France to Rome, Italy?

Are you going down to Paris first then flying? Taking the train? Or driving? Nine people with luggage needs at least 2 cars or a small bus.

Sorry if I am asking the same questions you wanted to ask in the first place? I just want to narrow a few things down.

I am more than happy to set you up with a van and a driver for Normandy -- that's not a problem.

Feel free to write me c/o Karen@BonjourParis.com

Bonjour Paris

Hi Ann Marie,

if you're looking for private guided tours of Rome and tips on the city you can go to the following website:

We'll be happy to be of help!

Best Regards,

Francesca Troilo

If you're interested in finding a private local guide to offer you a tour of the regions, ToursByLocals has several excellent local guides operating in both those regions that could accommodate a group of your size with a little planning. I'd recommend two in particular (as I've seen a number of excellent traveler reviews for them) but feel free to look through all the guides available!

In Rome, there's Fabio, who is incredibly popular:

and in Normandy, if you're particularly interested in battlefield history, I'd suggest chatting with Stuart:

or for a more general tour, Pierre is great:

Hope that gives you some ideas!

find an agriturismo for you all on .agriturismo.it and while you are going to Roma have a nice rest on Corboli Agriturismo in Toscana

Normandy is such a wonderful place and there is so much to do there. For a person who never wanted to go there I found its now one of my favorite places in Europe. You can see my report on Normandy here:  http://strictlyeurope.com/normandy_why.html

Hope this helps in figuring out some things to do while you are there! Have a great trip!

you can watch the tour de france in normandy on 7th it goes from dinan to liseux and there is more information on the wesbsite - we have a bed and breakfast in Calvados so if you wanted to know anything in particular let me know

Hi Anne, I am sure you will get something from all this experts
